Active Life UK opened our Widnes Branch on the
12th of November 2004, With Simon
Thomas (branch manager) and Gill Graham (admin
assistant) at the helm. In 2005 Darren Just
joined our team as a service/repair engineer,
enabling us to offer a complete service from
sales and information right through to after sales care.
With over 3000 sq feet of shop floor space
Widnes is one of the largest mobility
showrooms in the northwest. Entrance to the
branch is excellent and inside we have 2
disabled toilets and refreshments available
free of charge.
There is excellent free parking,
and disabled spaces right outside our front
door.
Based in the old “Alex” theatre we are steeped
in history and great stories from the past,
with great actors, and comedians such as
Charlie Chaplin playing here before he hit the
big time and also Stan Laurel played here
before going to America and joining up with
Oliver Hardy.
Directions.
From the M62 Rainhill stoops junction 7 follow
the signs for Widnes and Runcorn. At the 3rd
set of traffic lights bear right onto Ashley
Way, at the next set of lights bear right onto
Victoria Road, after 100 yards take your left
into Alexandra St.
From Liverpool take the Speke Boulevard
following signs for
Widnes, Runcorn, M56.
Continue forward onto Speke Road - A562. Entering Widnes.
Branch left, then at Ditton roundabout take
the 1st exit onto the A562 (signposted
Widnes, Warrington) then immediately at
roundabout
take
the 3rd exit onto the A562 (signposted
Widnes Centre, Warrington),
Turn left onto
Victoria Road. 100 yards turn left into
Alexandra St
